NCG has been commissioned to write a Practice Insight on the experiences of the Anti Corruption Joint Donor Fund in Nicaragua (FAC).

Nordic Consulting Group partner, Ananda S. Millard, PhD, has been commissioned by U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre at the Christian Michelsen Institute to write a Practice Insight on the experiences of the Anti Corruption Joint Donor Fund in Nicaragua (FAC).

Dr. Millard has recently conducted an evaluation of phase 3 of the Join-Donor Anti-Corruption Fund in Nicaragua. The U4 has, with Norad’s agreement, requested a Practice Insight focusing on:

1)    The backdrop of the FAC, and the factors that led to its establishment;

2)    The FAC itself and its operational inner workings;

3)    The impact the FAC has had thus far as a model to combat corruption;

4)    And an analysis of the FAC as a model for operations and a presentation of the lessons that can be learned from the FAC experience.

The document will be based on material gathered during the evaluation mentioned above, but also on previous evaluations, research documents, and other resources.

The Practice Insight is scheduled for publication by U4 over the summer months.
