Danida Support to Zimbabwe

NCG Denmark has won the contract of undertaking a “Formulation Mission for Danida support to Zimbabwe 2013-2015".

NCG Denmark  has won the contract of undertaking a “Formulation Mission for Danida support to Zimbabwe 2013-2015”. While Danida support in previous phases (from 2009 and 2010) addressed immediate needs of the country (i.a. food security, health and education), the ongoing third phase (2011-2012) programme supports the democratic reforms and long-time development endeavours of Zimbabwe and consists of three components: Private sector development in agriculture;  rehabilitation of infrastructure; and  good governance, democracy and human rights. The objective of the Formulation Mission is to provide recommendations and outline areas for a three-year continued programme (2013-2015) for Danish support to Zimbabwe. 

Partner Tore Laugerud of NCG Norway is part of the mission and covers the Infrastructure Component issues in the programme outlining. The field work in Zimbabwe is taking place during mid-June 2012.
